BACKGROUND
I started this blog back in January 2010 as a way to share all the amazing deals and freebies I come across with my friends. However, they thought the deals and freebies were just too good to keep to themselves so they started telling everyone they knew about it too. My little blog has blossomed into a fun site where not only do I post up the best freebies, and bargains on the internet, but I also share with my family bound friends reviews, giveaways, recipes, and any other interesting tid bit that I think they would like to read about too. I feel very close to my readers, they are a second family to me and I feel that we have a strong mutual trust and bond with each other. The response that I’ve received so far has been very encouraging and keeps me wanting to find the best for them. I find that my blog followers, subscribers, Facebook and Twitter fans increase daily mostly due to word of mouth!
REVIEWS AND GIVEAWAYS
As a responsible shopper I personally like to find reviews on products before I will purchase them, and if the review is coming from a friend or someone I trust I’m certainly more apt to purchase the product than I would have been. I believe that reviews/giveaways are most definitely a marketing strategy that a company should take notice of and use.
If you’re interested in having your product reviewed by myself or my team, I would be happy to discuss all the various options with you so that we can tailor a successful marketing approach to your specific product(s).
ITEMS I WILL REVIEW
With a family of 7 I have a wide variety of interests that I can review. The reviewers in my family are myself, my husband, and my children – girl (12), boy (9), girl (7), boy (5), girl (3), plus we also have 3 cats that would be happy to review pet products as well. If you have a baby product you would like to have reviewed, take heart, I have several local women with babies of all ages that are excellent writers as well as photographers who are willing to review baby products complete with pictures of their babies using the product.
DETAILS
1. At this time, all reviews by myself or my network of reviewers are completely and totally FREE! However, a sample product to review and keep is required…no refunds.
2. In return you’ll receive a thoughtful, honest, unbiased review of your product.
3. All shipping or other costs to have your product featured here is your responsibility.
4. Depending on the product being reviewed, please allow at least 1-3 weeks for your review to be posted after your product arrives in our. hands…up to 6 weeks for certain items that take longer to review (such as books).
5. Giveaways are an important part of a review as the fans LOVE a good giveaway (who doesn’t?)! If coupled with a review, giveaways are FREE of charge too.
6. If you would like me to post a giveaway on my blog without a review, there is a $20 fee.
7. Your review and/or giveaway will be posted within one week of receiving payment or product.
8. Giveaways usually conclude at the end of a one week period. However, this time period can be adjusted to whatever you wish.
9. Please remember, that I am not responsible for shipping the prize(s) to the winner(s), so do not ship these along with the review product. Giveaway prize(s) are always sent from the company itself to the contest winners.
10) If there is a certain date you want your giveaway posted, just let me know and I will try to accommodate you. Once your review is posted, I will email you a link to the post on this blog.
MY POLICY
I feel that it is my duty to my readers and to myself to always post unbiased, honest and accurate reviews of any product sent to me. I truly appreciate the generosity of a company that sends their product, however, my review will not be compromised in any way by this generosity. Also, I will not review a product that does not fit in with my moral code or the basis of this family website. Please do not send me anything to review without first sending me an email and working out the details first.
If you would like to talk to me about hosting a review and/or giveaway, please send me an email with the following info:
1. Let me know exactly what product(s) you want reviewed/given away. A link would be great.
2. I will provide links to your website in my post, but let me know if you would also like links to your Facebook/Twitter pages or any key words you might want added.
3. Let me know if you have any special requirement for giveaway entries such as “must like us on Facebook and/or Twitter to enter” or want to use those as extra entry methods.
4. I post up reviews/giveaways as soon as I can, however, please let me know if there is a time restraint.
5. I usually post the giveaways up for one week, however please let me know if you need that changed.
6. If you’re product is online, you might want to consider offering a special coupon code discount just for my readers.
